CLUB RULES
Just a few rules to keep our days great
So regards to rules we don’t have many but some things need cleaning up
-The classes are simple
17.5 blinky touring cars
Mar dave Mini as kit
Esc set to blinky mode with no turbo or boost. The esc doesn’t have to be on the brca list as some people use hobbyking and helps keep the cost of racing down
- For marshalling you must wear yellow or orange
( bright hiv ) as rules from the Brca
-The same can be said for the motors. Except these can be adjusted via the timing timed on the endbell
-Tyres are the contact a30
Due to the price point. It also saves a lot of hassle for anyone coming to the club. They know everyone will be on the same tyre and not scrambling to find the right tyre. The tyres are cheap, and maybe not the best but work well on our carpet.
-Lipos are to be charged in a Lipo sack. This is a brca rule, and if not complied with we will ask you to leave.
The user of the Lipo take full responsibility for the safety of charging and discharging. If unsure on your charging limits checkout your manufacturers information on the Lipo
-Ride height min of 5mm for touring cars. All screws on the bottom of the chassis to be checked prior to being on the track
-Additive to be wiped off and cleaned prior to the race and no 11’s or donuts on the track. Additive must be water based and not on of the older style oil based. Check the brca list should you need any help on this
-Bodyshells are open to any commercially available. Please ensure these do not drag on the carpet and are cut correctly.
-Report and tape issues and they will be sorted

Racing rules
1) when racing only one warm up lap to the line. No need for more when Marshall’s are making their way back to collect their cars. Please don’t go full speed on the warm up lap, as cars are still being placed down and Marshall’s returning.
2) If your car breaks down. Then please do not step of the rostrum. This Is common courtesy to those who are still racing, and please don’t return to the pits . The car will be put down by the Marshall at the respected Marshall spot. Disconnected by the battery and left until the race has ended. After they it came then be collected
3) At the end of the race, pull your car in a sensible area. Collect your car then take it to the table along with your transmitter, or this can be taken with you to your marshall cone, this is at your own risk of damage. . Please do not go to check out your results at race control, do this after the race .Place on your hi viz and then make your way in a safe manor to your Marshall cone.
Gloves are optional
4) whilst marshalling please do not move form your post to stand and talk. Focus should be on the section of track in front of you. As you’d hate it if you crashes and needed a Marshall. So not on your mobile phones etc
5) results can be checked after the race. Either via Facebook or as they are posted to the wall
